These, while very subtle in appearance, are quite sturdy, and thick enough not to fall out. They were packed with care, and quickly shipped. They would look best paired with other earrings and could be interesting with lots of types.

For the passionate love of handmade books and paper.

I am trained as a bookbinder, papermaker, letterpress printer, fiber artist, and metalsmith. In my studio, I make jewelry, paper goods, and fabric and leather crafts. My work celebrates my true loves: handmade books and paper.

I make jewelry using paper pulp which is cast, layer by layer, onto wire forms over the course of several days. In addition, I make delicate sterling silver basics that go with every outfit and tiny hand bound books on necklaces and earrings. I also make bags, boxes, tags and wrapping paper to create beautifully presented gifts.

Besides being a maker, I collect antiques, vintage clothing, and old books. I teach bookbinding workshops a couple of times a month, and play the fiddle and piano.

I live and work in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in Seattle WA with my bagpiper fiancé, Kevin, and our cat, Higgins. You can follow me and watch me make things on Instagram: versostudio.
