After a looong break, I'm back!
I'm a Midwestern girl with Midwestern values. Being surrounded by corn and soybeans, you tend to learn to find the beauty in simple things. That's why I started ViaBarrett.
My inspiration for the store came when one of my best girl friends got engaged. I was one of the matrons of honor and I offered to throw her a kitchen-themed bridal shower. I looked online at the bigger card retailers online and thought, well, I could do that myself! The chevron kitchen-themed bridal shower invitation on my shop is the exact one I used when I sent out the invitations. I received a really positive response and figured hey, I could have fun doing this and maybe make some money while I'm at it!
It's just me behind the store. No AI, no group of people, no outsourcing to foreign countries and reselling on Etsy.
