Soy Vicky y soy la creadora de Vicky's Learning Lab. Soy profesora titulada, SENCO, asesora de dislexia y tutora especialista. La escuela es muy diferente ahora de lo que era cuando éramos jóvenes; puede resultar confuso y abrumador para los padres. Por lo tanto, mi objetivo es compartir las estrategias que han funcionado para mis alumnos, así como aprovechar mi conocimiento como evaluador de dislexia y SENCO, para crear recursos que sean amigables con la dislexia.

I'm Vicky and I'm the creator of Vicky's Learning Lab. I'm a qualified teacher, SENCO, dyslexia assessor and specialist tutor. I love being creative, so in my spare time, you'll find me creating books and resources or making videos for my educational YouTube channel (that's if I'm not baking veggie cakes, yes really, or walking my highly-energetic dog, Dolly).

While working as a teacher, parents often told me that they just didn't know where to start when supporting their children with reading, writing and spelling at home. School is so different now from what it was like when we were young - it can feel confusing and overwhelming for parents. So my aim is to share the strategies that have worked for my pupils, as well as draw on my knowledge as a SENCO and dyslexia assessor, to create resources that are dyslexia friendly.
