Proud mommy of Victoria and Aurora!
Hello, I am Meghan and welcome to Vicora Designs! I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful girls Victoria(3) and Aurora(1). The past year of my life has been challenging like many people. In December I found out I was pregnant, my hubby and I were over the moon only to be devastated only weeks later when I miscarried. A month later we found out we were pregnant again. I was terrified that I would miscarry again, fortunately I did not. My pregnancy was going well, Then COVID hit. With COVID being pregnant and having a little one at home I stopped working. Time came for my 20 week ultrasound, we were so excited to find out if we were having a boy or a girl when we were hit with bad news. I had a Complete placenta previa. My doctor put me on bed rest(with a toddler) and sent me to a specialist which I saw every few weeks to monitor my situation. My situation was stable, but was informed I would not be able to deliver naturally and would have to do a c-section. A few weeks later they discovered I had vasa previa as well. My pregnancy was fragile and I was scared constantly. At 33 weeks I started bleeding and rushed to the hospital. A few days later our sweet Aurora was born 6 weeks early at 4pounds 14 ounces. She spent 10 days in the NICU and is a beautiful, thriving and healthy baby girl. We are so thankful she is doing so well. I have also been suffering from postpartum depression but fortunately with the great support system and husband that I have I am on track to being back to normal. Now with two girls at home, COVID and living off of one income I turn to you. I love creating different items and this is my outlet and helps me through tough days.
