This is a companion piece to Fireworks. I used a bamboo reed dip pen called a Calame. Picasso often used a Calame in his work too.

Just another day with Kurt. Kurt was busy painting this commission. I confess I had a bit of an attitude when I had to wipe his paint spatters off the wall. Me: Dude, you're getting paint all over the place. Kurt: I'm passionate. Me: great big smile.

This is a commission painting recreated on a much larger canvas. It is 42"x74". I LOVE how they framed it using a white floating frame. Prints of the original painting Dawn's Light are available here.

This commission piece was painted on a 40" X 50" stretched canvas that my partner Kurt Wedgley made. It's a piece of fine craftsmanship that took a day and a half to make. But now he set the bar so high I don't want to use store bought anymore.

The original painting now available in large museum quality prints.

My most recent commission is a good representation of my glazing and brush methods. I've used two different brands of Prussian blue because of their color characteristics brings added depth. I am also loving the grays in this too.
