The coat is well-cut and the fit is spot-on. I appreciate that it's separate from the skirt (e.g. not a full dress), so I can wear it with skirt or my own pants. The material is fairly thin, but that's fine (and even preferable) for many costuming situations. The buttons were better quality than I expected. It washed up well in a cold-water setting and will need minimal ironing or fussing. Precisely what I needed for my piratical get-up for Halloween, once I add some bits.

Worth every penny. The material is thick, but will need some steaming to get the wrinkles out. However, the wrinkles are not even bad. Super, super long. Get a long petticoat from Amazon, which I'm wearing under. I'm 5'3" (almost 4 inches), and about 130-135 and I got a Large. The dress comes in 2 pieces. Shirt & Skirt. The shirt opens in the front with buttons, and there is still room even when I was told it may be a half size smaller. I'm very pleased, and honestly I don't think it needed adjustments. Please consider wearing tall platforms or boots under as the skirt still glides on the floor, even with a petticoat under it.

Ample fabric. I do my own tailoring so this works nicely for me. Give yourself a time provision for this unless you happen to be nice and tall or don't mind a little extra puff in the sleeves (the cuffs should stay in in the right place) and a long hem - mine will be tucked into my skirt.

Such a great dress! I wanted a suffrage dress that was authentic to the period in materials and design. This dress closely resembles a dress worn by one of the first women to register to vote in Austin, Texas. The light, layered cotton is comfortable even outside in the Texas summer while remaining opaque overall. Easy to put on and take off, with thoughtful additions like snaps on the bodice to make the head opening bigger and a discreet zipper to ease sliding it over hips and shoulders.
