Hi! Welcome to the re-opening of my Etsy shop! I’m Meg Farr, the girl behind the artwork. So glad you’ve stopped by! I’m a self-taught artist and multi-faceted creative that finds a ton of joy in encouraging others through art and written word.
I started painting 8 years ago when my babies were young and money was tight. I was itching to create something new and wanted to use materials we already had on hand. I rummaged through my craft drawer and pulled out an old package of dried up watercolor tubes from the back, along with some scrap pieces of watercolor paper I had from a previous project. I cut open the dried tube of watercolor paint and touched my wet brush to the pigment. As I painted that night, I felt like there was an untapped gift through watercolors waiting for me. A newfound love for painting turned into creating gifts for friends which turned into this little shop.
My pieces are created with an intentional, carefully selected color palette. I use the highest quality Epson archival paper, ink and printer so you can rest assured that your artwork will give you years of incredible vibrancy. It’s my secret sauce that’s not actually a secret. Using the best materials ensures that the print you receive in your mail will be as close to the original as possible: Carefully crafted with vibrancy and texture. I do not mass produce, but instead I print one when you buy one! There is no stock-piling here.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart and am a homeschool mama to three kids. I paint when I can carve our a moment here and there. I find inspiration all over the place. Whether it’s from something our family has read together in scripture, or a beautifully crafted poem from a book, a walk in our woods where everything grows wild and free, or a beautifully arranged bouquet, there is inspiration everywhere and it translates to the art you’ll find here. Customers buy my pieces in happy times worth celebrating or in sad times when grief needs truth and beauty.
