From visual art to wearable expression
I'm Gabriella, a visual artist and designer inspired by art, culture, personal history and creative exploration. Growing up in the studio of my beloved father, the renowned Mexican Architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, I developed a deep appreciation for design. geometry, abstraction and visual expression.
My designs don't begin from nothing - each one grows from a personal story or cultural memory.
My soccer-inspired graphics reflect a lifelong connection to the sport, experienced from my family's deep involvement with the world of football.
The Peace Dove is another recurring symbol in my work. During the 1968 Olympic Games, my father designed a Dove symbol when organizing the event, and as a member of the IOC he always emphasized the value of Peace and Fraternity as the Olympic spirit. Inspired by that legacy, I have created many interpretations of the dove over the years, including silver jewelry and graphic designs.
Through OpArtMexico I transform these artistic ideas into wearable art-designs meant to express creativity, vision and the stories that shape who we are.
