After years of working as a cinematographer for global brands like Red Bull, UNICEF, and BBC, I wanted to bring my passion for visual storytelling into something more tangible—this shop.
Together with Lele Liu, a talented designer with a background in interior design from UAL, we founded Volumetric Works as a space to share our love for design and sustainability.
What started as a personal creative project has grown into a space where we create unique, modern lighting pieces that combine functionality with artistic expression. Crafted in our London studio, each item is made using sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials, ensuring our designs not only look beautiful but are also kind to the planet.
We draw inspiration from the beauty of nature, the play of light and shadow, the fluid forms of natural elements, and the contrasts between highlight and shadow. This inspiration guides us to create designs that are visually striking and evoke a sense of harmony and tranquility.
