Most people know me as Vonnie and I've been as creative sole for as long as I can remember.
I had a 30yr career as an acute care Paediatric nurse and then was introduced to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint 8 years ago. I found painting anything quite cathartic and a great therapeutic escape from my stressful job.
I had a fabulous time creating unique, colourful one of kind statement pieces with furniture paint and then discovered the wonderful world of decoupage art to furniture. This opened up a whole new world for me.
Before too I knew it I was totally obsessed with the vast variety decoupage and other decorative paraphernalia available to create beautiful furniture art.
I now run my own successful small business from home as a furniture artist and I'm currently a Brand Ambassador for an Australian company called Mint By Michelle.
