Crafty, I guess, is one word that describes one who designs, makes, fiddles with stuff.

So I'm a crafty person having done not only many crafts but who designs, makes, and fiddles with a lot of stuff that aren't considered crafts.

How did I get started with jewelry? As a little girl I kept an eye out for the multicolored wire left beneath telephone poles after there'd been repairs. Finding a big snarl of it was heaven. I created many glamorous and grand jewels with that wire.

Though there's been a jewelry-making hiatus between then and recently, that gap has been filled with drawing, garden and landscape design, fabric painting, shibori and tie dye, failed but promising attempts at knitting,crochet and sewing, polymer clay, embroidery and needlepoint, designing towns and cities of the future, rock sculpture, trying to make useful and pretty things (besides wreaths and swags) out of sticks, pine cones, reeds and the like, and probably a lot more that isn't coming to mind.

Skipping over a lot, after I'd resumed making jewelry I also began thinking about selling it. I already knew about Etsy.

Then I procrastinated. Now I have stopped procrastinating. Here I am. Hope you like what you see and will buy things from me.
