An artistic... and eco-responsible approach.
Une démarche artistique... et écoresponsable.
These objects that I assemble and recycle to divert them from their usual uses represent a very stimulating constraint artistically. It leads to curious chimeras, to characters who write new stories, in particular thanks to the postures that allow to breathe a narration and an emotion into each piece.
The raw material that we find at home, in the streets, or in nature, I collect it, twist it, screw it, assemble it and finally recycle it to create a new artistic universe.
It is a breath of fantasy that is born from debris. Creating these sculptures is for me to breathe urban fantasy into our daily lives. This fantasy can be dark, tortured, strange, funny, and above all it must stimulate the imagination.
It must create poetry in rubbish and give new life to what we throw away.

The gesture of recycling abandoned material into an object of art also challenges us
on our lifestyles.
In a society of mass consumption, we quickly forget everything we
throws into everyday life, and these sculptures can allow the viewer to
take a step back from your consumption habits.
Finally, just like our society which will have to evolve with the scarcity
of certain resources, a part of art can quite follow this path and
to convey his messages and emotions with the constraint of limited materials,
transformed and used.
Ces objets que j'assemble et recycle pour les détourner de leurs usages habituels représentent une contrainte très stimulante artistiquement. Elle amène à de curieuses chimères, à des personnages qui écrivent de nouvelles histoires, notamment grâce aux postures qui permettent d’insuffler une narration et une émotion à chaque pièce.
La matière première que l'on retrouve chez soi, dans les rues, ou dans la nature, je la ramasse, la tord, la visse, l'assemble et finalement la recycle pour créer un nouvel univers artistique.
Il s’agit d’un souffle de fantastique qui nait de débris. Créer ces sculptures, c’est pour moi insuffler de la Fantasy urbaine dans notre quotidien. Cette fantasy peut être sombre, torturée, étrange, drôle, et elle doit surtout stimuler l’imaginaire.
Elle doit créer de la poésie dans les détritus et redonner vie à ce que l'on jette.
La matière première est (malheureusement) infinie, et j’aime imaginer que ce
geste de recycler la matière abandonnée en objet d’art nous interpelle aussi
sur nos modes de vie.
Dans une société de consommation massive, on oublie vite tout ce que l’on
jette au quotidien, et ces sculptures peuvent permettre au spectateur de
prendre du recul sur ses habitudes de consommation.
Finalement, tout comme notre société qui va devoir évoluer avec la raréfaction
de certaines ressources, une partie de l’art peut tout à fait suivre ce chemin et
porter ses messages et ses émotions avec la contrainte de matériaux limités,
transformés et usés.
