Hand Crafted Goods Made From Recycled Wood
My name is Caleb Phay! I am from a small town in Oregon! I am currently working on finishing my bachelors degree and hope to one day have a career helping and serving youth in my community! From a young age I always have had a passion for making things with my hands! Growing up I always was trying to make things, but being a kid and not having money and resources I just used whatever came to hand. More often than not this was scrap wood I would save from the dump and second hand tools.
At the beginning of 2020 I lost my job due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. So I took the opportunity to do something I had dreamed of since I was twelve years old. I started a business making and selling things out of upcylced materials and thus WYLD WoodWorks was born!
I strive to make all my goods from upcycled materials. This means I get my wood from people who plan to throw it away! I then pour my heart into making something beautiful that will serve someone well for years to come! Some of the major environmental problems hampering our world are excessive waste and deforestation. So rather than cutting down more trees I try to help the planet by using materials that we already have rather then letting them be thrown away! In this way WYLD Woodworks is an environmentally friendly business that is trying hard to provide people with goods of the highest quality that are also sustainably made!
