It all started 6 years ago, with a desire to capture our memories in the form of scrapbooking. As we delved into the stories of our lives and watched them unfold on the pages, we became obsessed. Paper crafting took on a whole new meaning for us. We kept learning and learning, unable to get enough, and before you knew it we were teaching others through workshops and videos on how to capture their own precious memories in magical creative ways.

But it wasn’t enough. We needed more. And so, as we cut and glued and glittered and embellished, we slowly navigated towards decorating. From funky floral arrangements to unique table settings, we were constantly creating new exciting displays out of old and handmade items. The two passions intertwined.

It was a very natural transition from decorating into throwing fantastic themed parties. Both of us being dancers, we are very social creatures, and absolutely LOVE hosting, whatever the occasion. Our first themed party was Game Night (coming soon to shop). We did it because it was fun, and it satisfied our creative hunger. We expected everyone to have a good time… What we didn’t expect was all the positive feedback we received from our guests at how amazing everything looked!

It was a domino effect… party after party, we got better and better. Pulling inspiration from other creative minds, magazines and the depths of our own imaginations, we hosted all sorts of events. But there were always limitations with what we could do. That’s when we discovered we were missing a very important element: designing our own party supplies, just the way we envisioned them. So, we cannon-bombed into the intense crazy depths of graphic design. And we have never looked back.

We now have a wonderful fusion of paper crafting, decorating and designing, which is what makes Wakawoo Events & Printables so different. Every aspect of a party is taken into account. Plus, we share all of our ideas, tips and tricks with you – so you can also become a hosting extraordinaire.
