Why The Name Walking With Strays?
Thank you for your interest in learning about my shop, Walking With Strays
I choose the shop name because, I spend my weekends walking the shelter dogs at my local shelter.
Little did I know that would I find great joy in exploring my surroundings with these pups by my side.
When my shelter received a truck load of fabric as a donation, they were in need of some crafty individuals to make items for the animals.
I decided to help out and brought home a couple bolts of fabric.
This was the start of my journey of making pet related goodies.
Feeling inspired, I decided to try my hand at designing patterns so other pet parents can experience the joy of making accessories for their special companions
My aim is to create easy beginner friendly patterns so you can get back to spending time with your pets!
Every pet deserves love and it’s my hope that I can help you spread love to your furry or hairless pet.
At this time I don’t have any pets so I hope you’ll allow me to live vicariously through you, when you sew my patterns to make one of a kind items for your beloved pet(s) to enjoy!
