The workmanship and finish of the stand is top quality, you definitely get what you pay for. The black stain is a deep, true black that matches my black headphone covers exactly. 100% compatible with WC's silicone earcup outer shell covers (and earpad sweat covers), do let James know that you will be using those covers with your headphones when ordering. I also want to profusely thank James for going well above and beyond to ensure my stand would be compatible with the WC shell covers, and the patience and support he provided in making sure I got exactly what I wanted from the stand. The headphone stand is incredibly well built and high quality. My only complaint is about how short the included cable is. However, I was able to get an extension cable and things are good now.

Husband loved this birthday present. It cam with two adapter so we can charge both of our headphones.
