4 out of 5 starsBuilt mine the way that it shows in first picture of listing, with the longer top part extending out backwards. The first attempt at installing it that way I had the legs on backwards, and didn't realize until I screwed it in. Upon unscrewing it the brass threading came out with the screw so the whole thing had to sit a day until I could get pliers to help remove the two pieces from each other, user error but the brass wasn't supposed to be removable I'm assuming. There is also a chip of wood missing from one of the x cross side walls that seemingly arrived that way. OTHERWISE I think this product is great!
