WaypointInk

Hi, I'm Jessica, the writer behind Waypoint Ink.

Stories have always been how I make sense of the world, and I write for readers of every age: picture books for bedtime, adventures for curious middle graders, young adult fantasy, and slipstream fiction under the pen name J.R. Deem.

I chose the name Waypoint Ink because a waypoint is a marker that helps you find your way, and ink is how I leave those markers behind. Every book is meant to be one small stop on a reader's journey: a story that makes a child giggle, an adventure that keeps a teenager up past bedtime, or a world you're sorry to leave.

You'll find it all under one roof, including Echo's ABC, my alphabet picture book inspired by my dog Echo. The art and stories on everything in this shop come straight from those pages, so you can carry a favorite book with you.

Thank you for being here and for letting my stories travel with you.

Happy reading,
Jessica
