Artisan Made Leatherwork

Artist Mellie Z creates her astounding leatherwork from her workshop in the foothills of the Pocono Mountain. Using a combination of self taught skills learned from traditional leatherworking, seamstressing, and sculpting, she creates unique and innovative products. Her work is best known for its fantasy elements, and you'll see monsters, dragons, and specialty items created with a deep understanding of color theory and texture. Most of these are one of a kind, meaning every purchase will be special and unique.

Her work has been featured in Faerie Magazine as well as art shows and galleries, craft fairs and conventions all over the east coast.

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Please contact about any issues with product.
In some cases, I will negotiate an exchange for equal value, provided the original item is returned in original condition. Reasonable adjustments to existing pieces will be considered on a case by case basis--just message me here or on Facebook to discuss.

I will replace any item which the USPS declares as lost in shipping. If an item is damaged in shipping, I will repair whatever damage, provided I am informed of the damage within three days of the item being received by the customer.

I will repair any issue that happened with normal use. However, damage due to mistreatment of a piece or poor maintenance will not be covered. (These include mold and mildew damage, other liquid damage such as sweat staining or spill marks, dirt/mud, scratches or cuts from rough handling, fading from being left in extreme light or heat damage).

Most of my items are one of a kind. Some are pieces meant for special occasion costumes. Due to these factors, I will not accept returned items for refunds.

If you feel you have a situation not covered by any of the above, please message me and we can come to a consensus on other options.
Shipping
In normal situations, I ship at least once a week. During periods of a high number of shows, I may put the etsy store on vacation as I will not be able to handle shipping. All packages are shipped USPS, with tracking. In cases of packages that are deemed lost by USPS, I will replace the item.
