Weaving Threads - The Beginning
Weaving Threads is a newly opened shop (Aug 2022) operating from a beautiful location in regional Western Australia.
If you are looking for a show piece of art to add interest to a blank wall - then my unique hand spun, hand woven, wool wall hangings are for you.
The wall hangings are woven with New Zealand merino wool & blended with the lustre of silks, showing off their luxurious characteristics. The inclusion of organic materials, ribbons, ropes, silk locks & metallic threads add even more character to the wall hangings. No two pieces are ever alike.
OR
You may simply wish to purchase a skein of my unique, hand spun, thick & thin “bobble” art yarn, spun on a traditional spinning wheel, to use in your own beautiful knitting/crochet/weaving project.
The spun yarn is then plied & core spun with a matching thinner fibre, whilst auto wrapping with a metallic gold or silver thread, to add a little sparkle. This technique creates the most stunning, unique, art yarn, full of “CHARACTER”.
