Soy Chad Wenger, un artista y creador práctico que cree que las mejores piezas tienen una historia. Mi trabajo combina vidrio, madera, metal y materiales reciclados para crear arte que transmite una sensación atemporal y auténtica.

Gran parte de lo que creo parte de materiales que ya tienen un pasado —duelas de barril, madera recuperada y elementos encontrados— y luego los reinvento para crear algo nuevo. Diseño y construyo piezas de vitral que juegan con la luz y el color, cruces de duelas de barril y bandejas que resaltan el carácter y la veta natural, y muebles únicos pensados para ser usados, no solo admirados.

Me atrae el equilibrio entre la artesanía y la imperfección. Las marcas de herramientas, las variaciones en la madera y los pequeños defectos no son errores para mí; son prueba de que una pieza fue hecha a mano. Cada artículo que creo está diseñado, construido y acabado con esmero, ya sea una pequeña pieza decorativa o una obra funcional de mayor envergadura.

Mi objetivo es simple: crear piezas significativas y bien hechas que aporten calidez, propósito y una sensación de historia a su espacio.

I’m Chad Wenger, a hands-on artist and maker who believes the best pieces carry a story. My work blends glass, wood, metal, and reclaimed materials to create art that feels both timeless and lived-in.

Much of what I create starts with materials that already have a past—barrel staves, salvaged wood, and found elements—then gets reimagined into something new. I design and build stained glass pieces that play with light and color, barrel stave crosses and serving platters that highlight natural character and grain, and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces meant to be used, not just admired.

I’m drawn to the balance between craftsmanship and imperfection. Tool marks, variations in wood, and subtle flaws aren’t mistakes to me—they’re proof that a piece was made by hand. Every item I make is designed, built, and finished with care, whether it’s a small decorative piece or a larger functional work.

My goal is simple: to create meaningful, well-made pieces that bring warmth, purpose, and a sense of story into your space.
