I'm a printmaker and creator who believes life is better when we make room for play.
Whether I'm carving a linocut, setting vintage type, or exploring a new creative idea, I approach art with curiosity, experimentation, and a sense of fun. To me, creativity isn't about perfection—it's about showing up, trying new things, learning as you go, and finding joy in the process.
The heart behind my work is simple: I want to create art that makes people smile, laugh, reflect, and feel a little more like themselves. Many of my pieces begin as reminders I need to hear myself. Works like "It's Okay to Take Up Space" grew from a desire to remember that my voice matters, that I belong in the room, and that we all deserve to be seen and heard. Other pieces carry messages of encouragement and self-discovery, inspired by the lessons I hope to share with my son—lessons about confidence, authenticity, resilience, and embracing who you are.
One of those lessons inspired a piece that reads "Find Your Orbit and Shine," featuring an astronaut floating through space with a star balloon. It's a reminder for my son, and for anyone who needs it, that there is no single path to follow. We each have our own orbit to find, our own way to shine, and our own story to tell.
That spirit of joy and encouragement is reflected in my brand as well. The hand-carved "YAY!" pennant in my logo grew from a playful tradition shared with my husband, my biggest supporter. What began as a simple flag became a symbol that kept appearing throughout some of our family's most meaningful moments, including the birth of our son. Today, it serves as a reminder to celebrate the small wins, embrace life's adventures, and say "yay" a little more often.
Through printmaking, letterpress, and creative exploration, I hope to bring more joy, encouragement, and meaningful connection into the world—one handmade piece at a time.
