4 out of 5 starsI ordered this linen in white to dye it myself to a colour I have in mind. But maybe will keep it white for making a short sleeved shirt (for me); It's not easy finding thicker white linen that isn't see through. This is good, but see through.

Is it possible to order fabric samples?
Yes, we offer fabric samples for purchasing our linen fabrics and our lampshades.
Please note, the actual colour of our products may vary depending on the display screen they are viewed on, so we would always recommend ordering a fabric sample first to see the colour in person. We try to edit our photography to accurately reflect the colour as true to life as possible, however cannot guarantee the colour will be a perfect match when viewed online.
Please note, there may also be slight variations with fabric colours when ordering at different times. This is due to the manufacturing process and different dye lots, which can affect the exact shade.
Where do you source your fabrics from?
Our thoughtfully curated linen fabrics are all made in Lithuania where there is a long heritage of linen production. The finest linen comes from Europe, where the rich soil and optimal climate cultivates strong flax plants, from which linen is produced.
What does OEKO-TEX® fabric certification mean?
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification guarantees that no materials or substances that are harmful to human health have been used to produce the linen fabric or textile in question.
Do you offer returns & exchanges?
All lampshades are made to order and therefore we do not offer returns or exchanges.
Do get in touch if you require any assistance checking the compatibility of our lampshades with your light fittings and if you need any advice regarding the most suitable size, and we will be happy to help. Please note, it is the buyer's responsibility to check a lampshade is the correct size before purchase and that it is compatible with light fittings.
If you need to cancel your order, please ensure this is done within 6 hours of placing your order. After this time period your lampshade will be in the process of being made and cancellation will not be possible.
We cannot accept returns for cut lengths of fabric, and do advise ordering a fabric sample.
What fitting are your lampshades compatible with?
Our lampshades are supplied with a 40mm European shade ring and 29mm UK adaptor.
Please contact us if you require an adaptor for a harp and finial fitting and this can be supplied for your lampshade and included with your order.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
We aim to make up and ship your lampshade order within 3-7 working days, however this can be longer during busy periods as all our lampshades are made to order.
We try to despatch fabric orders the same day if placed before midday.
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for standard shipping, which typically takes 2-3 working days.
All international orders are sent via a tracked service, with shipping to Europe taking 3-5 working days (although delays at customs can mean longer) and 5-10 working days for the rest of the world.
Customs & Import Fees
International orders may be subject to additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees once the package arrives in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
For US customers, due to recent tariffs on textiles and homewares, all import duties are already included in the shipping cost. This means you won’t face any surprise bills on delivery — everything is covered upfront.
Lampshade safety
Our fabric lampshades are backed with a fire resistant PVC and we recommended using a low energy LCD bulb.
