My Neck of the Woods

I love the outdoors! I have always lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and am active in many outdoor sports. I'm a retired teacher who has the passion for learning new things and exploring new avenues. I enjoy wandering the woods and lakeshores looking for unique pieces of nature. This might be antler sheds, mushrooms, nests, rocks, and other gems. I feel connecting with nature enhances a creative way of thinking. And I'd love to bring you those images, paintings, and pieces of nature to enjoy. There's always something awe inspiring when it comes to nature!
