The Story of WildSyStudios
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with the question: How do we actually do this thing called life?
It started with the animal kingdom, watching the fierce tenderness of a mother bear, the wild freedom of a bird in flight, and realizing that nature has been writing instruction manuals long before we ever picked up a pen. That first book was my love letter to the wild.
But then life got real.
I found myself in the trenches of raising teenagers, those beautiful, chaotic creatures who oscillate between needing you and pushing you away. I wrote about that, too. Then came the book on why women should be loved, not just tolerated, not just celebrated on Hallmark holidays, but truly, deeply, seen.
Somewhere in between, I burned a few too many dinners, fell in love with my kitchen, and realized that cooking is just another language for "I care about you." That became my culinary odyssey.
And yet, I kept coming back to the beginning. How do you start anything from scratch, a career, a family, a savings account, a new chapter? I wrote Start from Scratch for the person staring at a blank page. I wrote Investing in Your Twenties for the person who feels like they're already behind. I even collected a book of quotes, because sometimes, when you're lost, all you need is one sentence to guide you home.
That’s when the lightbulb went off.
I wasn't writing random books. I was building a synthesis, a system of wisdom for every wild, unpredictable, beautiful phase of life.
Thus, WildSyStudios was born.
Wild is for the untamed years, the toddler tantrums, the teenage rebellions, the career risks, the travel adventures, and the messy kitchens.
Sy is for synthesis, the act of weaving all those scattered pieces into a coherent, peaceful, and meaningful whole.
Studios is my promise to you: this isn't a one-hit-wonder. This is a creative space where I will keep showing up, with new guides, new recipes, new quotes, and new reminders that you are exactly where you need to be.
Whether you’re here to figure out how to talk to your 16-year-old, what to make for Sunday dinner, where to put your first $100, or just to find a sentence that makes you feel less alone, welcome.
You are not a mess. You are a beautiful, wild work in progress.
And I write for you.
