Announcement    Welcome to Wintergreen Design! Each of the Christmas ornaments, home décor and wedding items you see in my shop are made entirely of paper! All the ornaments you see in my shop were designed, created and assembled by me from start to finish often taking several hours to complete.

The photographs do not really do justice to the ornaments. You really need to see and hold them to appreciate them fully. The ornaments are very light in weight and will not pull down your Christmas tree branches.

Paper quilling, or paper filigree, is an intricate art form over 500 years old. Quilling originated in European religious orders where they used strips of paper resembling metal filigree in their reliquaries. The pieces are created by rolling narrow strips of paper into various shapes, and arranging them together to form a unique design. Although quilling appears delicate and ornate, it's actually quite sturdy. That being said, the ornaments are made of paper and proper care should be taken... they are not toys, the ornament's arms, legs, etc., are not meant to move and trying to manipulate them into different positions will cause them to break or unravel, as will a very hard fall to the floor. They are also not water or fire tolerant and proper care should be taken when hanging around hot Christmas lights or open flames.

Commissioned works are paid in advance, and are priced individually plus a 15% fee.

Welcome to Wintergreen Design where you will find a variety of paper quilled Christmas ornaments as well as ornaments for other holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and St. Patrick's Day. Paper quilled ornaments make fantastic first Anniversary gifts (known as the "paper anniversary") as well as housewarming, teacher and hostess gifts. I have also recently added a number of wedding designs including table numbers and seating cards to my shop. Returns and exchanges
I try to photograph my items as accurately as possible; however, there may be some color variances from what you see on your screen. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible. I want you to be happy with your purchases... don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

RETURNS: Returns are accepted if your purchase arrives damaged or for accidental mislabeling in item's description. Any concerns must be stated within 3 days of arrival. I will try to resolve any issues. When no solution is agreed upon, my return policy is unconditional.

RETURN SHIPPING: Acceptable returns must be sent out with tracking and delivery confirmation within 3 business days of receipt in the original packaging. A refund or credit will be issued upon receipt of the returned item and not before it is received by Wintergreen Design.

LOST SHIPMENT: All packages are insured through the postal service. I will file an insurance claim for investigation and recovery through the postal service.
In order to file a claim your cooperation is required. Photographs of the damage must be taken and submitted to me and all packaging needs to be kept until the claim has been completed. Affidavits issued by the postal service must be signed prior to issuing your refund.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Payment
At this time I will only accept payment via Paypal and Direct Checkout. Even if you do not have a Paypal account you can still make your payment through Paypal using a credit card. Complete payment must be made before any work on your order can be started.
Shipping
I ship via Canada Post air mail or Canada Post Expedited (depending upon the order and shipping paid) as these are most affordable methods of delivery. Air mail does not provide a tracking number but is insured.

I will send your purchase to the address listed with ETSY unless you tell me otherwise immediately following payment. Please make sure that the correct address is listed when placing your order... refunds will not be issued because an address wasn't confirmed during checkout.

International orders are also sent out via Canada Post. Delivery times can vary depending on country and may take six weeks or more to arrive. Please include your phone number on "notes to seller" at checkout. Phone numbers are required on international customs paperwork.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred on international orders. Falsifying customs declarations or having an item marked as "gift" in order to avoid customs fees is classified as Mail Fraud and is a felony.
