Helping Fellow Dice Makers Achieve Their Goals
My name is Storm. My partner and I run a Youtube channel that is all about making cool fun character builds, supplements, and conversions for Pathfinder 2e. Or "PFFFF-TOO" he likes to call it 🙂
In early 2020 we were working on the concept and business strategy behind our Youtube channel when we happened across a video from (as I lovingly call him) The "Grandpappy of Dicemaking" Mr. Rybonator about how to make handmade dice. We instantly knew that we wanted to do this and it would go along with our Youtube channel business perfectly. So we bought our "Harbor Freight Special" with a compressor, a bunch of glitter and inks, Dixie cups (which at the time were impossible to find), popsicle sticks, and resin and we thought "we got this!".
Next came the masters...
After looking at places like Blue Mimic (that Rybonator suggested) we realized this was going to be a lot more expensive than Mr. Grandpappy made it out to be. We knew we wanted to be able to sell our dice and that we would need to get our own design made. We ended up settling on a (now that I know better) ridiculously overpriced Masters printer on Etsy. Let's just say that the experience was horrible. It took over 4 months to receive only part of what we ordered, and it was wrong.
So I played with making molds and dice from Chessex sets for a while till we decided to try again. We found ANOTHER Etsy seller that we thought would be so much better. Again... fail. The design was at least right, but the quality was severely lacking.
After twice trying to get Masters made so I could finally become a real and official dicemaker... we gave in and got our own 3d printer to just print the Masters ourselves so we would KNOW that they were what we wanted. Alas, my dream of being a dicemaker has morphed into being a Dice Master maker. I do still pour dice (especially since I can make my own Masters) but I am currently mostly taking commissions on custom Dice Masters.
After twice trying (and failing) to get what I wanted I have a drive and passion for making EXACTLY what you are wanting with the highest quality standard. I am a bit of a perfectionist. So if you are looking for high-quality Dice Masters that have a painfully obsessive attention to detail you are in the right place. I will be happy to make some for you.
I also carry dice finishing materials (zona papers and polishing compounds) and offer smaller more cost-effective bottles of Inhibit X. I only sell the things that I have personally used and can attest to their effectiveness and worth. So I back all my products with 100% satisfaction guarantee. Some I cannot offer refunds (due to the nature of custom-made goods) but I will support, assist and remake anything that does not meet your standards.
I also occasionally write articles on my blog about Dice Making, have some really exciting new designs in development, and will soon be launching a second channel all about the techniques and lessons I have learned along the way about 3D Printing dice and Dice making.
I would be happy to serve you in any of your dice making needs. I am always open to new ideas and would love the opportunity to take on challenging requests to hone my skills.
Thank you for considering Wisdom Check Creations!
