A digital artist from an analog world
As a Video Editor and Motion Designer by day I have always worked in the creative arts. My primary tool is Photoshop where my creative process lends itself to traveling down a variety of creative paths. I source textures and elements from my own acrylic landscape paintings, photos from travels, or the Creative Commons. My work includes retro travel posters, Chicago park maps, digital collage, and cosmically abstract work. It is unique in its versatility and increasingly includes an animated version in addition to the static posted on my Instagram page.
At the start of 2021 I began an “Every Day” project creating a new piece of digital art every single day of 2021. It has been no small undertaking but it is creative challenges like this that drive my work. At the core of my creativity is constantly exploring new techniques, regularly learning new skills and never being afraid to start from scratch.
In 2022 my goal will be to build up my online presence and share new work with you weekly. Stay tuned and thanks for coming along for the ride!
