Through the looking glass...

Wonderland Shop is the merging of my love of art and literature. Through my pieces, I like to combine image and text and bring a touch of fairy tale whimsy to our everyday environments, while still remaining evocatively modern and classic.

Of course, I am particularly inspired by Lewis Carroll's Victorian fairy tales about Alice, but I am also influenced by simple design aesthetics that I see in my home city of New York. I like to balance and juxtapose intricacy with playfulness and clarity.

Most of all, I enjoy putting a smile on people's faces through my work, and adding a little touch of wonder to someone's day.
