Our products are made from real hardwoods and each product has a different finishing process. We will provide you with care instructions for the item upon delivery. Generally speaking keeping them out of a hot car and dry is advisable!

I make everything in Arlington, Virginia - USA where my family has lived for several generations and most of the materials used are locally sourced, The rest of the materials are from other parts of the USA, Canada or Europe

I believe in being upfront and honest about things. I could be like those other companies where they just hide the delivery price in the actual price, but then you'd most likely be paying more since they jack up the price based on furthest delivery point.

I practice helping the environment in several ways,

-I reuse packing as often as possible, keeping them out of the landfil at least one more time.
-I use locally sourced materials as much as possible.
-I use salvaged materials, saving them from the landfill or burn piles.
-I send all collected dust to farms for use, as mulch or compost it.
-All unusable scraps either turn into smore generation items (aka fireplace for my kids) or are sent to be ground up into mulch.
-All finishes are no VOC and/or Natural.

Please note I'm not responsible if you enter an incorrect address on the order. If the product is returned you will be responsible for shipping again or a refund minus shipping can be given on some non personalized/custom orders.

I guarantee I will get the item out by the processing time stated. I make no guarantee that the shipping time stated by Etsy will be remotely correct. At the current time I do not refund for "lost orders" until after 40 days have gone by and all attempts of tracking are done. I will do everything in my power to help find a package, but please be patient as shipping is not under my control. If an Item is marked as delivered and you don't have it please check with neighbors and your post office (they have the GPS location on file). If it's still missing file a stolen mail police report and then contact me with the police report.

- Wood is a natural product, each section of a tree (let alone different trees) can vary in grain, color and appearance depending on a number of factors. Wood also ages in various ways so will change shades depending on a number of factors.
- Pictures look different depending on the screen you view them from.
- I believe in leaving the character of the wood in tact as this is what makes each piece unique and beautiful in it's own right. I avoid any large unsightly blemishes (cracks, holes and medium to big knots) for a variety of reasons. A lot of what I use is culled or recycled, during the re-milling process I discard the unsightly stuff unless they will be in a spot that can't be seen (ie underneath).
