GICLEE INFORMATION:
A Gicleé Reproduction is the highest quality print available today. It is a digital printmaking process that uses very tiny droplets of lightfast, archival ink to create stunning and long lasting prints true to the color of the originals. The cost of producing Gicleés is significantly more per print than offset reproductions. I use two different printers to make my prints. One takes 8 different colored cartridges of toner, the other requires 12 different cartridges of toner to operate. The paper used for the Limited Edition prints is also acid free and archival. This is the same process many of the best museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, use to make quality prints for framing.

Quality Gicleé prints are numbered and signed by the artist who individually inspects each one for accuracy. Each print has its own number, for instance if you purchase a print numbered 20/250 it means you have the 20th print in the total edition of 250 that was inspected, signed, and numbered by the artist. Once the total edition number of 250 is met, no more prints are made. This means each print is much more valuable than an open edition where they are not numbered and many prints can be made.

Treat your Gicleé prints like an original work of art. As with any good artwork it should be framed under glass and you should keep it out of intense direct sunlight. Occasionally there will be a print that is not a common size, but I try to keep most of my Limited Edition prints a standard size so it is easy for you to get a frame from any art store or the internet.
