My name is Filip and I work in wood. I studied it for a while and love it – especially the variety of wood that nature gave us. My wife Joanna designs and paints our toys. She studied art and loves painting the most but working with wood gives her just as much joy.
We’ve always wanted to craft things and love bringing our ideas and projects to life. We’ve never thought we could live off that but we took the chance and started our small business in August 2019, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, in Joanna’s tiny painting studio which soon turned into our workshop. We were surprised people actually wanted to buy our things. It is for us the best motivation to make items that are perfect in every detail.
We believe that simplicity is essential in design but the item must have its own character. Most things on the market are quite kitschy or designed for mass production without taking care of details. We don’t like to waste the material and even if something fails in production we keep it all and figure out how to give it a new life.

Our goal is to take care of our planet too. We use water-based stains or natural oils and waxes without organic solvents. We use as much of wood as possible. That’s why we’ve created waste wood classic blocks. The waste we have at the end of the production process is used to make biomass. Our shipping boxes are mostly from recycled paper. We use only paper tape with water-based glue and if you find plastic bubbles in your package, it is reused by us.
