I've been making jewelry and beaded items for several years now. I actually started with bead weaving which I love(d). You can see in my pieces that I do use some seed beads at times. I stayed away from the gemstones because I was afraid I would get hooked and not be able to stop buying gemstones. I have always LOVED rocks and stones. As a child, I was always looking for rocks and loved all the polished rocks people game me. (I still have them.) I still love looking for rocks. Isn't it amazing the beauty our Creator put into rocks alone?

It all started when I made watches one Christmas. I purposely bought glass beads to make them. Then I saw some ocean jasper and leopard skin jasper. I just wanted to see what they looked like for real, so I ordered some. That started my entire obsession with gemstones and making jewelry.

I found that my passion was a good way to make a little extra money so that I could stay home with my daughters.

I use gemstones, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, freshwater pearls and have started to dabble in some copper wire. I do try to buy the gemstones at the most reasonable price that I can, so that I can make my jewelry more affordable for more people.
