Outstanding purchase! Fast shipping, good communication. The item was as advertised - in fact even better. Everything was in excellent/mint condition. In fact, the only way I knew they NOT brand new, is they did NOT have that funky smell to them & were NOT covered in that powder/dust that I still remember from first issue in USMC boot camp 40+ years ago when it was all still ALICE and C-Rats. This gear was clean and in near-perfect condition. Elastic bands for excess strap retention are stretched to the point of uselessness, but that was expected and easily remedied. OCHOA was written on the front - whoever you are, thank you for your service and for taking such good care of your gear!

I believe the assault pack was used, but from the condition of the pack it looked new. If I had to re buy this pack I would definitely re order from this seller!

It's heavy, just as I pictured it, but I'm used to the weight from my days carrying this many years ago. I prefer this for backpacking over the commercial bags sold today. Plus, I can add more space or items if I need to.
