Announcement    Wyeth Designs was started to showcase my work as a jewelry and furniture designer.

I began woodworking early in life while working for a contractor throughout high school and college. Furniture building, however, was never part of my life plan. During college, I studied architecture but eventually chose to pursue a career in medicine. During my four years in medical school at the University of Chicago, when I was not studying or in the hospital, I was in my makeshift workshop in my garage. Applying the knowledge I had garnered from my years in construction, I began to teach myself the basics of furniture design and construction. Graduating from medical school in June of 2009, I started work as an emergency room physician in downtown Chicago's Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I continued to dedicate much of my free time outside the hospital to pursuing furniture and jewelry design.

In July 2010, I started Wyeth Designs to showcase and promote my line of furniture and jewelry. My pieces display clean, minimalist lines reflecting my love of Japanese architecture and Scandinavian furniture design. I also try to incorporate natural elements such as stones, grass, and water into my pieces whenever possible. My jewelry is unique, handmade, lightweight and original.

Wyeth Designs is run by myself, my wife Melissa and our two children, Liam and Mikayla. I hope my love for design and this small company inspires them to pursue a life of creativity.

For every item purchased, we will donate $1.00 to Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit honoring all NICU patients, families, and health professionals.
