What if my package is delayed/lost in transit or stolen?

+ "Inês Lamy" is not liable for packages that are delayed in transit, lost by the shipping carrier, or stolen -- all circumstances which are beyond our control.

+ Once we hand your item over to the shipping carrier it is their responsibility to deliver the item -- please contact the shipping carrier directly regarding delays or lost packages.
All orders above €10/ $10 are sent with a tracking number, therefore you can use it to track your order and contact the local postal service to handle the issue and help to track the order.

+ If you suspect mail theft you can obtain the GPS coordinates of the last scan point from the shipping carrier if applicable in your country and file a mail theft report with your local police department.

Do you offer rush production?

+ All orders will be processed in our standard 1-5 business days. If you need it SOONER you can purchase the Rush Order Fee listing in our shop, and these items will be processed between 1 to 2 business days.

Care instructions

+ All pieces are handmade one by one!
We also get worried if you don't receive a nice finished piece, so we work it with care and love.

+Please avoid chemicals into your jewelry. Most chemicals stain, degrade or damage it.
Avoid water contact (rainy weather is okay), shower or swim with your jewelry on.
We also advise to remove it while house cleaning, doing the dishes (if it's a ring, or bracelet), washing your hair and working out.
When using delicate & dainty jewelry, please beware of your own strength when closing a stud earring for earrings.
To inhibit tarnishing you can keep it into a closed zip lock plastic bag.

+ Understand that 925 Sterling Silver and plated metals tarnish and darken over time, due to the nature of the metals.

Care Instructions for CORK

+ All of our cork items are natural and can be cleaned with a soft wet cloth and mild liquid soap.

+ No need for oils or waxes and we don't advise going into a washing machine.

+ Cork is 100% water resistant, it can get rain on it, wet accidentally or on purpose (by cleaning) and will not show any signs of damage or leave any marks on the cork.

+ Cork is surprisingly strong and robust, it doesn’t tear or crack easily either. It can withstand excessive usage and lasts similar to a leather item.
However avoid sharp objects near your bag, jewelry or accessories.

Sizing Details, Gift wrapping and packaging

+ All sizing details are specified in each listing.
If for some reason you cannot see it, please let us know and we will gladly answer back and update the listing in question.
1 inch equals to 2.5 cm approximately, so you can also convert the size easily.

+ There is always an option for gift wrapping and packaging for a small fee and you can see it in your cart as an option.
The fee comprehends the wrapping materials, the time to wrap and the shipping and handling that is required for the process.

My order did not reach me on time, or is still in transit. Can I return it, or get a refund?

+ Sometimes there are delays in transit times across all of our shipping carriers, and these will increase in the holiday season.
We cannot guarantee that a shipment will arrive by a specific date, even if the tracking provides an estimated delivery date.
We have had cases where a shipment is significantly delayed and shows as unscanned even if it was shipped. You will most probably get your shipment, but we are in no position to guarantee the timeline.
We cannot refund or cancel orders if they did not reach on time.

+ If your order did not reach on time, please contact us and the shipping carrier.
+ We try our best to work with you but we do not control shipping. Please understand, NO returns are accepted for shipping delays.

How much time does it take for my order to arrive?

+ All items have an estimated time of arrival, based on the average given by postal services from France to your country. This is calculated based on an average shipping time from past orders and their calculations.

+ It usually arrives fast, but we cannot guarantee any arrival date.
It will also depend on your location and shipping method chosen at checkout.
France - between 1-5 business days
European orders - between 3-10 business days
US and Non European countries - 5-20 business days

+ Also depends on the time of the year, like big vacations period, Christmas and New year season, that can slow down some deliveries, but the delays we give you are the average you can expect, therefore we strongly advise to order in advance.

Do you accept Cancellations

+ Usually we always prepare your order as soon as possible, because most items are made to order.
If you order in the morning and decide to cancel in the evening most probably your items are already in the making or finished, ready to be shipped, or in the mail.

+ For this reason we cannot accept cancellations if you decide a few hours later on items made to order, or that are custom, or personalized.
If you have any questions, please message us to enquire and take all your doubts before placing your order. We will be glad to help.

Can I return my order for any reason and get a refund?

99% of the items are made to order.
No returns unless they present clear damage or problem.

It is appreciated to contact us in advance and have the item unworn and unused.
It must be send in the original package and depending on the item, it needs to be protected to prevent damage.

Approved refunds will be processed for the full amount paid for the products but will exclude the shipping charges .
If your order was eligible for free shipping, the shipping will be deducted from the refund amount due.

Buyers outside EU please note:
If you want to return please be aware that the fees or taxes should be paid before shipping otherwise any fee/charge made by Customs will be deducted from your refund.

Due to the custom nature of the item we do not accept returns, exchanges or requests for alterations after delivery.
We ask that you communicate any specific requests through our
message conversation during the order process. We only know about a preference or request if you specify it in your message. We will always do our best to accommodate your requests!
