This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.

To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order cross stitch pattern, for example), if you contact me directly.

I use your mailing (postal) address to ship your items to you. Etsy keeps it as part of the transaction receipt. I don't save it in any form. If I need it to re-ship something to you, due to some error on my part, I will look it up from your original purchase on Etsy.

I use your email address only to send you digital files if you purchased a custom cross stitch chart. I don't keep it. If there is an issue with you not receiving your custom chart, I will email it again, by replying to the message that you sent to me.

Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my tartan cross stitch chart?

Usually within 1-2 business days. This does not include Sat. and Sun. So if you order on a Friday, you may receive it as late as the following Tuesday. Please keep in mind time zone differences!

Do I download my tartan cross stitch chart?

No. Each chart is created individually for each customer. Chart will be sent via email to you within 1-2 business days.

It's been more than 1-2 days and I haven't received my tartan cross stitch chart. Where is it?

First, check your spam/junk mail folder.

If it is not there, please make sure that your email address that you use on Etsy is the correct address.

If you still haven't received it or can't find it, send an email to: MilkLass@hotmail.com with your order number and I'll get it sent to you as quickly as possible.

What are the tartans shown in the shop's cover photo?

The largest one, behind the Xed Stitches text, is an unidentified tartan. The other 3 are from the left: Anderson, Campbell, and Stewart mourning.

Do you offer "ancient" or "modern" versions of the tartans?

No. Both "ancient" and "modern" refer only to the shades of the colors used. "Ancient" is misleading in that it is newer than so-called "modern" tartans. The shades that I use are as close as possible to what is indicated in the official pattern for each tartan.
