Building my Dream
I am a creator. I always been... Since my teenage years I've been very creative. Born and raise in Puerto Rico, I joined the artisans community making custom jewelry, I worked with wood, seeds, leather and other raw materials for years, and I enjoyed it very much. In my mind I always had that dream of making a living out of something that fulfilled me.
As time passed and I grew older, and got married, and had kids, I found myself working a retail job, which consumed my dream for many years.
On 2016, I found myself in a stage where I was wondering if I had done everything I wanted in life. I spent so many years in retail, where I wasn't able to enjoy moments with my family and that was the turning point.
I started to re-discover myself and playing with the idea of being a business owner. I started with baby steps... making shirts for friends and family. It was a way of letting my creative side be active again. A few years passed and somehow my little hobby started to grow...
At the beginning of 2019 is when it happened!
I realized my retail job was draining me, and I didn't wanted to spend another minute wasting my life working for a big company. I needed to re-start my dream and go for it!
I invested on the professional equipment to start my own business XTEE AND MORE LLC. And went for it!
It has been a great journey so far...
Today I am still discovering new shades of me, and I decided to open a store where I can offer designs on Sublimation Transfers and HTV transfers for the people like me; the ones that have that creative side and are experimenting with the apparel decorating world.
Update as of September 2023. My daughters graduated highschool and I decided to go back to work retail, but in a more softer pace. After working from home in my business for 3 years, and taking care of my body and mental health, I was ready for a new challenge. I am still designing for my shop almost every day.
I discover how to balance my life and it has been great!
