As a beehive, I didn't get Personal Progress.
Then finally a leader said to me "Deborah, it's only going to get harder -- you'll be busier and putting the Lord first won't get easier. So the sooner you start, the sooner you'll have that foundation in place."
After that, I fell in love with Personal Progress. While trying to find a project to do, I got stuck. So I decided to compile a list of projects so I had options to choose from. This list became The Personal Progress Helper.
This tiny little blog became my project, but after that I forgot about it. Then out of the blue, I started getting emails from people around the country. My tiny corner of the internet had gotten some traction on Google and Pinterest. So I started getting to work, revamping this website into a place where young women and leaders could find tools to help them have a meaningful experience working through the young women program.
Eventually I began offering products designed on Etsy, to provide unique printable invitations, posters, and handouts. Since the beginning, my goal has always been to make Young Women meetings a meaningful experience for other young women!
This shop has given me a unique opportunity to pursue what I love, doing something I didn't even know I could do for a real job! I want to make others happy, so if the designs I provide are able to do that for even one person, I'll consider that a job well done!
