Hi, my name is Rose, I'll not call myself a crochet addict, because I love and every once a while indulge in a variety of crafts. But I can say that crochet has my heart. I live in the Middle East, precisely, Abu Dhabi, a beautiful desert city (doesnt look 'deserty' of course)
I first started crocheting in High School as a hobby. Then I left it to 'pursue' a 'dream job'. Alas, there was none for me. I never quite excelled behind a computer on a desk as much as I have when creating something with my hands. My life has been filled with crafty creations. Crocheting has given me a wonderful outlet to live life in a fulfilling way while raising our sons.
After our first son was born I decided to stay home and thought of what I could do to keep my mind active, going through Pinterest showed me just the thing- crochet. I learned to crochet from a book, used a lot of patterns then one day decided to start making my own designs, from there I started a blog and the rest they say, is history.
I get inspired by so many things and am constantly taking photos of motifs of anything I see outdoors that I could incorporate into my designs. My patterns are mostly easy, but every now and then I like to challenge myself as you will see in my Classic Bun Beanie- a really 'textureful' beanie in my shop.
