Frequently asked questions

How do I care for my cushion cover?

Patterned Covers: Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle setting. Avoid harsh spot-scrubbing, and use a phosphate-free detergent for longer color life. Tumble dry low or line-dry.

Vegan Leather Covers: Wipe clean or machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle setting. Tumble dry using low temperature or hang dry. For tough stains, treat with a cleaner spray or leave in the sun.

How do I care for my silicone placemat?

FDA grade silicone is highly resistant to staining, but some things should be wiped fairly soon to avoid staining (like carrots, tomato sauce, red juice, pen ink, etc). To clean, rinse with warm soapy water or place in the top rack of your dishwasher.

I like to put the placemat back on the tray while it's still a little wet then let it dry on there. This trick gives it a little extra stick!

How do I care for my footrest?

Footrests can be cleaned with a damp rag or soap and water as needed.

How do I care for my floor mat?

You can clean them with a wipe or sponge, hose them down, or rinse in the sink. We’ve even put ours in the washing machine (just make sure your machine doesn’t have any jagged edges it could get caught on!). You can also run it under the shower head when it needs a super thorough cleaning!

With paint, it’s easiest if you can wipe before it dries. Otherwise some scraping may be required.

Please note, fading may occur if silicone is left in direct sunlight over an extended period of time.

How do I care for my silicone dinnerware?

Wash in the dishwasher or by hand with an oil and fragrance free dish soap. Soaps that contain essential oils, antibacterial agents or moisturizers all have oils that can stick to silicone and cause an unpleasant soapy taste.

FDA food-grade silicone is highly resistant to staining, but may get temporarily discolored with a red or orange sauce, especially if it's not washed right after use. If you notice discoloration, continue using and washing for a few days. Typically the discoloration will disappear on its own. Soaking silicone in water overnight may speed up the process. You can also soak in hydrogen peroxide or leave in the sun if needed, but note that prolonged sun exposure may fade the color.
