5 out of 5 starsI am very very new to knitting, the only other time I knit was 8 years ago when I tried starting blanket before I understood knitting a blanket would be hard and I probably should crochet it. Anyways, this was my very first pattern, but I wanted to make something for my boyfriend and this pattern was very clear and easy to understand as a beginner! I have since looked at other patterns to start other projects but none are as detailed and easy to understand as this one so far. I did see one minor error in the Neck section. The part regarding picking up stitches to start the collar says something like start at Left Front, then across Back Neck edge, then finish on the Left Front. In the end it didn't cause any major problems in my project, just confusion! Other than that, amazing pattern! My sweater came out perfect :)

5 out of 5 starsPattern is easy to follow. Definitely could use needles longer than 40” as there are so many stitches to move around as the skirt gets bigger.
