Quilted hot pad I'll be using under a teapot. It could be used many other ways (under a small plant, under a beautiful vase, etc.) as well. A selection of colors from which to choose. It is just as described, 7.5 inches, good price point. I'm sure I'll be ordering from this seller again. 😄

Fabric, fabric and more fabric...

I am a fabric hoarder and have been for many, many years. I love the colors, patterns, textures...it got me out of the dullness of working in a blue/grey/black corporate environment. A few years ago I realized things were getting a bit out of hand so I decided to find an enjoyable way to reduce my stash. Quite by chance - or by karma - I stumbled on instructions to make fabric baskets. Seven baskets later I was hooked. My niece had started an Etsy shop for her jewelry several months prior. She walked me through the listing process which at that point I thought was sooo intimidating and it's all history after that.

And forget about my goal for reducing my stash. Instead I've used my shop to justify buying more so it's more than doubled.

Oh well.

My other Etsy shop - Shelleyville - sells my other obsession - sewing patterns! I rescue them from estate sales, flea markets and acquaintances who are destashing. Please stop by and visit sometime!
