§ 1 Scope and Provider

The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the sale of products by YesterdayMeetsHome (hereinafter referred to as "Provider") to you in their version valid at the time of the order.
Deviating GTC of the customer are rejected.
Please read these conditions carefully before placing an order with YesterdayMeetsHome. By placing an order with YesterdayMeetsHome, you agree to the application of these sales conditions to your order.
At YesterdayMeetsHome, we offer you the sale of the following products:
YesterdayMeetsHome exclusively sells used vintage items that have already had one or more previous owners.
§ 2 Conclusion of the Contract

Contracts on this portal can only be concluded in German.
The offers are exclusively aimed at end customers with an invoice and delivery address in:
worldwide.
For individual bulky items, the possible delivery addresses and the place of delivery may be limited; the restriction is indicated in the respective list price.
The customer must have completed the 18th year of life.
The presentation of the goods in the online shop does not represent a legally effective offer. The presentation of the goods merely invites the customer to make an offer.
Your order constitutes an offer to YesterdayMeetsHome to conclude a purchase contract. The customer makes a binding offer when he has gone through the online ordering process by entering the requested information and clicks on the "buy" button in the final ordering step.
The purchase contract between the provider and the customer is only concluded through a declaration of acceptance by the provider. This occurs at the earlier of the two dates, either sending the goods or sending a shipping confirmation by email. Please note that the confirmation of receipt of your order does not constitute a declaration of acceptance in the previously mentioned sense.
The validity of contracts for quantities exceeding household quantities and for the commercial resale of the purchased item requires the express confirmation by the provider. This refers to both the number of products ordered within an order and the placement of multiple orders for the same product, where the individual orders cover a household quantity.
Your orders are stored with us after the contract is concluded. Should you lose your documents regarding your orders, please contact us by email or telephone. We will send you a copy of the order data.
You agree that you will receive invoices electronically. Electronic invoices will be made available to you by email or in the customer account on the website. We will inform you in the shipping confirmation for each delivery whether an electronic invoice is available. Further information on electronic invoices can be found on our website.
§ 3 Prices and Shipping Costs

Our prices include the applicable statutory value-added tax and are understood to include a flat-rate shipping charge and a shipping surcharge. The shipping surcharges vary depending on the type of delivery and the nature of the item.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of products in our catalog may be mispriced. We check prices when we process your order and before we charge payment. If a product is mispriced and the correct price is higher than the price on the website, we will contact you before shipping the goods to ask if you want to buy the product at the correct price or cancel the order. If the correct price of a product is lower than the price we have indicated, we will charge the lower amount and send you the product.
The prices valid at the time of the order apply. If list prices are available, the prices of the valid list price at the time of the order apply.
§ 4 Delivery and Cancellation

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery will be made to the delivery address specified by the customer. On the website, you will find information on the availability of products sold by YesterdayMeetsHome (e.g., on the respective product detail page). We point out that all information on availability, shipping, or delivery of a product are only approximate indications and approximate guide values. They do not represent binding or guaranteed shipping or delivery dates, except when such dates are expressly designated as binding in the shipping options for the respective product.
If YesterdayMeetsHome discovers during the processing of your order that the products you ordered are not available, you will be informed of this separately by email or a message in your customer account. The legal claims of the customer remain unaffected.
If delivery to the customer is not possible because the delivered goods do not fit through the customer's entrance door, front door, or staircase or because the customer cannot be found at the delivery address specified by him, although the delivery time was announced to the customer with a reasonable period, the customer bears the costs for the unsuccessful delivery.
Delivery is made according to the customer's payment method. For advance payment, delivery is made after the payment order has been issued to the transferring credit institution. When paying by PayPal, credit card, gift card, direct debit, instant transfer, or invoice, delivery is made after the contract is concluded.
If your order is shipped in more than one package, you may receive separate shipping confirmations for each package. In this case, a separate purchase contract is concluded between us for each shipping confirmation for the products listed in the respective shipping confirmation. The contractual partner is YesterdayMeetsHome. Regardless of your right of withdrawal, you can cancel your order for a product at any time before the shipping confirmation for the respective product is sent free of charge.
§ 5 Customs

If you order products from YesterdayMeetsHome for delivery outside the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges. Customs regulations vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for more information.
Please also note that when ordering from YesterdayMeetsHome, you are considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you receive the products. The protection of your data is important to us, and we would like to inform our international customers that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. § 6 Payment

The customer can pay for the goods using the following payment methods:
PayPal
Credit card
Instant transfer
On account
Payment on account is only possible for consumers over 18 years of age. The delivery address, home address, and billing address must be identical and in the following countries:
Germany, EU
For services provided online (e.g., software for download) and for the purchase of gift cards, payment on account is not possible. The invoice amount is due upon receipt of the invoice. YesterdayMeetsHome reserves the right to offer certain payment methods only on a case-by-case basis.
For payment on account, in addition to any shipping costs, a fee of 0 € (zero euros) including the applicable VAT per delivery is charged. The customer is always informed separately before the contract is concluded whether this fee is applicable.
If the invoice amount is not paid for reasons attributable to the customer at the due date, YesterdayMeetsHome will charge a lump sum compensation of 0 € (zero euros). The customer can prove that no damage has occurred or that the damage is significantly lower than the lump sum.
When paying on account, as well as in other cases for justified reasons, YesterdayMeetsHome will review and evaluate the customer’s data.
Certain payment methods can be excluded by the provider in individual cases.
The customer is not permitted to pay for the goods by sending cash or checks.
If the customer chooses an online payment method, the customer authorizes the provider to collect the amounts due at the time of the order.
If the provider offers payment in advance and the customer chooses this payment method, the customer must transfer the invoice amount to the provider's account within five calendar days after receipt of the order. The provider reserves the goods accordingly for five calendar days.
If the provider offers payment by credit card and the customer chooses this payment method, the customer expressly authorizes the provider to collect the amounts due after the goods have been shipped.
If the provider offers payment by direct debit and the customer chooses this payment method, the customer grants the provider a SEPA Basic Mandate. If there is a return debit of a payment transaction due to insufficient funds or due to incorrectly transmitted bank details, the customer must bear the costs.
If the provider offers payment in advance and the customer chooses this payment method, the customer undertakes to pay the invoice amount within 14 days after the goods have been shipped, without any deduction.
If the customer is in default of payment, the provider reserves the right to assert the damage caused by the default.
§ 7 Offsetting and Retention Right

The customer has the right to offset only if the customer's counterclaims have been legally established or are not disputed by the provider.
The customer can exercise a right of retention only insofar as the customer's counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.
§ 8 Retention of Title

YesterdayMeetsHome retains ownership of the goods until full payment has been made.

§ 9 Transport Damage

If the customer receives the goods with obvious transport damage, the provider requests that the customer complain about these as soon as possible.
If the customer fails to make a complaint, this has no consequences for the customer's statutory warranty rights. The complaint aims to allow the provider to assert its own claims against the carrier.
