HI my name is Robin *^^* I'm owner and designer of Yiko's Castle. I have been making art since I was in 2nd grade, so I know my way around pencils, clay, and sewing *^^* But this shop started out with Pewter work, My mom is the one to blame for getting me into it, the past year or two *^^* I love to sculpt new things and I wanted to make jewelry the was different and would be interesting to wear.

I'm a mixed media artist I love to play around with different mediums like pewter , leather, and glass. I'm currently going to school to get my masters in studio art. Creating art for conventions is something that I'm passionate about. I love making my own jewelry and I have fun making into different styles. My style tends to leans to more fantasy, and steampunk style. But I love incorporating different anime and SyFy culture themes as well.

Glass is the newest medium that I'm starting to work with. So far I'm loving it and the pieces I create are so cute and I'm loving it so far. I've found new methods were I can create original anime or syfy related art work and fuse the image onto glass.

Leather is a wonderful medium because I can use it with my pewter work or have it on its own and it's fun to tool into it to create new designs. I also use the leather to make my custom goggles with pewter, they are such a labor of love.

I love to sew and I'm planning on making some small messenger bags as well using canvas and possibly leather.

I don't make much of either type of work, but what I do I'm very dedicated to and I spend what free time I have to make them right. In all I love to make art that inspires me to try something new and I'm constantly learning new thing and I want to share my work with other people.
