Welcome to You & Your Shadow, a traditional portrait shop specializing in custom hand-cut silhouettes, graphite drawings, and old-world keepsake art. My silhouette work is made to order, cut and mounted by hand in the tradition of historic profile portraiture. These pieces are created from your submitted photos and are meant to preserve the unmistakable shape and presence of a person, child, pet, or loved one in a simple, timeless form.
Alongside custom silhouettes, I also offer original graphite drawings and finished graphite works. These pieces are not available by commission, but are released as completed artworks when available. My graphite work is built slowly through light, shadow, detail, and atmosphere, often drawing from history, faith, portraiture, memory, and the quiet drama of traditional black-and-white art.
