Zapi Beauty is an online beauty supply store based out of Houston Texas. She offers variety of products like ; custom curly to kinky curly wigs/hair extensions, braided wigs, ayurvedic hair care products, hair accessories, skin care products, and other unique items.
About the founder
" My Name is Princess Amara Bergerson, the founder of Zapi Beauty. I am an art enthusiast and a creative person first of all. I love trying new things, I love providing solutions, I love service and I derive joy whenever I receive those great feedback from customers. I love perfection, that is why I do my best to exceed my customers expectations.
I'm someone that believes that natural hair and ones overall health is of great importance. As a natural consultant, I have a coarse Afro kinky curly TYPE 4 HAIR. In 2019 I started my second natural hair journey. This time i wanted a more precise hair care practice that would help me reach my hair goals. I have two hair goals ; 1. Growing a long hair, 2. Maintaining moisture/hydration/protein balance to keep my hair healthy.
To achieve these hair goals, i knew i need hairstyles that are easy, low manipulative and protective. Hairstyles that won't require me sitting for hours, hairstyles that won't cause unnecessary breakage/ hair loss. Hairstyles that promote hair growth, improve length retention. and give me the ability to use my hand crafted ayurvedic natural hair products.
This problem brought about the idea to design most of the products on my store. I designed some natural looking textured wigs like U part, Half wig... and more to help protect hair. Ponytail extensions for medium to coarse natural hair, natural hair texture clip-in and tape-in hair extensions to add length to short hair, natural looking handmade kinky twists for crochet install. Hair products to help with hair growth and length retention.
I believe there are a lot of women like me who want same things and more. “
