Our name may be new, but our story, community, and love for African fashion continue.
Zzya Studios was born from a love of culture, self-expression, and the belief that African fashion belongs everywhere. We create and curate contemporary African clothing and accessories that celebrate heritage while fitting beautifully into modern wardrobes.
Our journey began as Zee Store, with a simple goal: to make Afrocentric fashion more accessible, wearable, and exciting for people who wanted to express their connection to African culture through what they wore.
Over the years, that little store grew into a community.
We’ve seen our pieces worn to weddings and celebrations, styled for vacations and everyday outings, given as meaningful gifts, and incorporated into wardrobes around the world. We learned that our customers weren’t simply looking for “African clothing.” They wanted pieces connected to culture that still felt like them.
That idea continues to shape Zzya Studios today.

As the brand grew, we knew our identity needed room to grow with it.
Zzya Studios represents the next chapter of Zee Store, giving us space to evolve creatively while preserving the ZS identity that has been part of our journey from the beginning.
You’ll still find the colour, personality, cultural influence, and sense of expression our community knows us for, now under a name that better reflects who we’re becoming.
