When I'm drawing fantastical things, all of a sudden the real world doesn't exist anymore. I hope you experience that too when you look at my art.
I've been drawing since I was a tiny. I've always loved it, I was always DRAWN to it (pun intended) and I just never stopped. I loved that it took me to a place that didn't exist anywhere else in the world because, well... how cool would that be?!
Anytime anyone ever asked what I wanted to do with my life, I would say "I want to be an Artist!". Luckily I had the support of a dad who is also an avid painter and a mom who just absolutely loved my passion for it. I took every type of art class possible throughout high school, I entered county art contests, school contests and even did those "draw to apply" flyers you'd get in the mail for art schools. I won most! I lost some and most certainly didn't make it into those schools at such a young age. But then I went to college for Media Arts & Animation. I thought that's what I wanted to do, but I found out quickly that it was NOT. Throughout my 4 years in college, I learned that I either want to make it BIG to Disney-Pixar, Dreamworks or even Blizzard Entertainment and if I didn't get there I would take it into my own hands and start my own business.
I've been slowly building this up on my own. I've networked at too many Comic-Cons to recall and have met so many incredible people. I've had amazing professors who did great things in the industry and now I'm taking all that I've learned and applying it HERE, to where I WANT to be.
As I continue moving forward with growing my business, I am still learning so much. But one thing is most certain. I absolutely LOVE the impact I have on those who love my art and I will always and forever appreciate all who glance at my work. It means a great deal, it comes from the soul and I hope that my artwork can reach yours as well.
