Hand-painted mulberry silk scarves and luxury handmade pieces inspired by the beauty and intricate detail of nature.

Each design begins as an original sketch and is carefully hand-painted brushstroke by brushstroke on the finest pure mulberry silk in my studio in England. Using professional silk dyes and traditional techniques, every piece becomes a unique work of wearable textile art.

While many of my designs are inspired by botanical forms, some of the animal motifs begin as sketches by my husband, who has an exceptional eye for capturing animals in pastel. His drawings provide the starting point, and I then reinterpret them into designs that can be painted onto silk. This collaboration allows us to combine his love of wildlife with my background in textile design and silk painting, resulting in unique wearable artworks.

I trained as a fashion designer and have over 24 years of experience in the fashion industry, including working with the couture house Catherine Walker Ltd. This background in couture craftsmanship continues to shape the care, precision, and attention to detail that goes into every piece I create.

In 2023, I further developed my silk painting practice through specialist training with master silk painter Karen Sistek, attending an intensive workshop and a private one-to-one session exploring advanced techniques working directly with dyes on silk.

Because every scarf is individually designed and painted by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each creation is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

Most scarves require 7–10 days to complete unless listed as ready to dispatch. My luxury hand-knitted and crocheted pieces are usually available as ready-to-ship one-of-a-kind designs.
